Terms of service

Last updated October 28, 2026

These terms are an agreement between your business and Sklentr Inc., Ontario, Canada (“we”, “us”), for the use of Social by Sklentr (“the service”). By creating an account you agree to them. If you agree on behalf of a business, you confirm you are allowed to do so.

1. The service

Social by Sklentr reads your website, plans your social media posts, writes captions and hashtags, makes images with your logo, and publishes the posts to the accounts you connect (Instagram and Facebook today). Depending on the setting you choose for each brand, posts are saved as drafts, sent to you for approval, or published automatically.

2. Who can use it

The service is for businesses in Canada and the United States. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. During the pilot, accounts are by invitation.

3. Your account

  • Keep your password safe and tell us at support@sklentr.com if you think someone else has used your account.
  • The team owner decides who joins the team and what they can do.
  • You are responsible for what happens in your account.

4. Your content and our posts

  • You own your content: your website text, logo, brand details and the posts the service makes for you (captions and images). You can use them anywhere, also after you leave.
  • You give us permission to use your content only to run the service for you: to store it, send it to the AI services that write and check posts, and publish it to the accounts you connect.
  • You confirm you have the right to use the logo, images and other material you give us.

5. AI-made posts: please check them

Posts are written and designed by AI. We instruct it to use only facts from your website and brand details, and every image is checked before it is used, but AI can still make mistakes. You are responsible for what is posted on your accounts. If you choose automatic publishing, posts go out without your review. You can edit, reject or delete any post, and remove published posts from Instagram or Facebook yourself.

6. Connected accounts

When you connect Instagram or Facebook, you allow us to post and read results for those accounts through Meta's official tools. Your use of those accounts must also follow Meta's terms. You can disconnect at any time from the brand's Connections tab.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to:

  • post anything illegal, misleading, hateful, harassing, or that infringes someone else's rights;
  • make claims about prices, health, results or offers that you can't support;
  • send spam, or break the rules of the platforms you post to;
  • try to break into, overload, copy or resell the service.

We may pause a brand or a team that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why.

8. The pilot and fees

The pilot is free. We will agree a price with you before anything is charged, and you can stop at any time. AI credits may be added to your team during the pilot; they have no cash value. If you add your own AI provider keys, that provider bills you directly under your agreement with them.

9. Stopping

You can stop at any time: turn off posting, disconnect your accounts, or delete your account in Settings → Team. We may end or suspend the service for a team that breaks these terms, or if we stop offering the service, with notice where we reasonably can.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, and posts may be delayed or fail (for example, when Meta is down). During the pilot the service changes often. We may change these terms; if a change matters, we will tell account owners by email before it takes effect.

11. No guarantees

The service is provided “as is”. We don't promise any particular number of followers, sales or results.

12. Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses (such as lost profits or reputation) or for what third-party services like Meta or AI providers do. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or CAD $100 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer protection laws give you and that can't be waived.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario, unless the law where you are says otherwise. Please contact us first; most problems can be solved by email.

14. Privacy

Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information, and How to delete your data explains deletion.
